Cleaver Sword

Equipped with a folded steel blade, which is a hammer-welded mixture of 1095 & 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel, 1045 soft steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available.

The process and technique is renowned for smithing the finest combat sword blades, and certainly forms a very lethal foundational core to this Chinese broadsword. 

Completed with a practical leather scabbard, functional & beautiful brass fittings, and finally a hardwood, wrapped with quality cord handle, this Dao weapon is finished in full traditional Chinese fashion and quality.
