Double-Edged Sword Jian

Forged with folded steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a technique renowned for smithing the finest combat sword blades. 

Sword and scabbard fittings are decorated with hand-carved brass artworks, with a great number of these works plated in genuine gold or silver – very lavish artistry and materials.
