Iaito Dull Katana

1045 steel is commonly used for the construction of training swords. It’s a well rounded, medium tensile steel with good impact properties, wear-resistance, strength and excellent toughness. This blade is designed to last and remain in excellent condition, even after years & years of repetitive use – a very ideal attribute for a martial-arts training sword or Iaito Katana.

Completed with a lacquered hardwood scabbard, along with quality sword-fittings, and a hardwood, wrapped with synthetic-leather & quality-cord handle, forming a practical and effective hand-grip. 

This Uchigatana sword is purpose built for general sword training and Iaito sword use. It also makes a smart and very safe option for public ornate sword display.
