The replaceable blades are made from high quality stainless steel; which is a modern, highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a good amount of carbon, high chromium and small amounts of other alloys. Characteristics include fair blade hardness, toughness & wear-resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and an ability to be sharpened to a razor sharp degree.
