Scottish Claymore Sword

Equipped with a 1060 carbon steel sword blade, which is a modern, highly refined iron base-steel alloyed with 0.6% carbon, significant manganese, and traces amounts of other elements. 

It’s well known for its almost perfect balance of good blade strength, hardness, toughness, edge-holding capacity, as well as renowned elasticity and excellent resilience, with very similar characteristics to a spring steel sword blade. 

1060 carbon steel is without a doubt, one of the most versatile steels available, and arguably the best sword-making steel for a true combat sword. 

Completed with a hardwood, wrapped with pu-leather scabbard, quality sword-fittings, and a hardwood, wrapped with wax-cord & real leather handle, forming a simple, practical and effective hand-grip. 

Wielded with both hands and highly versatile, this two handed longsword is an equally capable, cutting and thrusting weapon, fully capable of penetration armor.
