The full tang blade is a T10 high carbon steel construct, which contains the highest carbon contents of all steels used for blade-smithing. Arguably the best steel for sword making, the cutting edge is very hard, reliable and extremely sharp for battle purposes, along with good natural blade resilience one would expect from a high quality Samurai sword.
Furthermore, the blade is genuine clay tempered. This ensures a clean, visibly defined tempered cutting edge with the core and spine of the blade left softer and more resilient. A technically advanced and difficult process to achieve.
Beautifully presented in Shirasaya sword form with a matching exotic Brazilian Ebony wood handle & scabbard, this little Katana is both traditionally collectable and a very inconspicuous and deadly weapon.
