Shikomizue One Piece

Still very much a Ninja’s weapon, it was deployed as a Shinobi sword, a powerful underground Ninja-clan practicing the dark arts of Ninjutu. Because it was easily concealed with its wooden handle & scabbard combination, the Shikomizue blade would disappear within what essentially looks like a stick or staff, as any peasant old man or farmer of the period would carry through the streets or meadows.

Basically a straight blade Katana, this stick sword is a full sized longsword weapon capable of matching any Chinese Jian, Medieval long sword or Japanese Katana duel.

The most valuable part of any sword is its blade, with this folded steel Katana blade certainly forming a high core standard of this fully functional and battle ready Katana.

Forged with folded steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a technique renowned for smithing Japanese Katana blades.

Presented in traditionally Shirasaya sword form, this classic weapon is highly collectable, with a very high ornate value, along with functioning as a clandestine and deadly weapon.
