T10 Steel Katana

T10 is the highest carbon content steel used for sword making and is arguably the best steel available for a combat sword. Characteristics include a hard, reliable battle edge, which will hold its edge and stay sharp for longer than any other steel used for swordsmithing. Furthermore, the blade still encapsulates good resilience and elasticity, as one would expect from any combat functional blade.

Further promoting perfection, is the very difficult process of clay tempering the blade. This process precisely facilitates hardening of the blade’s edge, while leaving the blade’s core and spine softer and thus resilient. Definitely a marker of advanced Japanese sword making technology and visibly identifiable on this sword’s blade. 

The beautiful orange lacquered, hardwood scabbard and very high quality brass sword fittings complement the green Katana handle very nicely. And the hardwood, wrapped with real white leather & quality polyester cord form a traditional and very effective Japanese Samurai handle grip.
