The process and technique is renowned for smithing the finest combat knife blades, and certainly forms a very lethal foundational core to this Japanese Samurai knife. 

Completed with a rosewood Tanto sheath, solid brass Habaki, and a matching rosewood handle, forming a traditional, low-maintenance and effective hand-grip.
