Built for field use, this compact deer knife is ideal for the delicate work of removing hide without damaging both the hide or meat while working the blade.
Fitted with a modern D2 steel blade, which is a highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 1.4% carbon content, 12% chromium and smaller amounts of manganese, silicon, molybdenum and vanadium. Blade characteristics include good toughness, very high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance.
Completed with a modern G10 handle, which provides a tough, durable and strong hand-grip surface. And included with a tough Kydex sheath which is generally secured to a waist-belt.
